Ten thousand reasons to love Hanover Day!
The highlight of Hanover Day is the McGee Toyota Fireworks Show, made possible by a generous donation from McGee Toyota of Hanover-a family-owned business proudly serving the community for over 40 years. Rob McGee, seen presenting his $10,000 donation to festival Co-Chair Paul Nimeskern, continues his role as the premier sponsor, a commitment he took on more than a decade ago. Thanks to him, the community enjoys a spectacular show everyone eagerly anticipates each year. This year's fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday night, June 28.
The partnership between Hanover Day and McGee Toyota of Hanover has become a cornerstone of the festival's success and charm. McGee Toyota's unwavering support over the years reflects their commitment to fostering a sense of community and celebration. McGee has been sponsoring Hanover Day since 2013, marking over a decade of dedication to enhancing this beloved event. Beyond the fireworks show, the collaboration symbolizes a shared mission to create memorable experiences for families and individuals alike. Second Chance Animal Services Partnership
We were THRILLED to announce that our first adoption event with Second Chance Animal Services had been a success! ALL 8 puppies found their fur-ever homes during the event!!!! We also met our fundraising goal of $2500, and McGee Toyota of Dudley had matched all of the generous donations, allowing us to write Second Chance Animal Services a $5000 check!
As many of you knew, we at McGee had been very fond of our four-legged friends, and we had planned to host more of these events in the near future! We could not have done it without our lovely community, so THANK YOU to everybody who had shared, donated, or attended our event!
Toys for Tots Collaboration Fundraiser with the Dudley Fire Department
We were proud to host the Toys for Tots collaboration fundraiser with the Dudley Fire Department! Together, we accumulated a whopping $3,000 worth of toys thanks to the generosity of our community. Donations had poured in through new and unwrapped toys, cash, check, and Venmo, helping to make a big impact.
We received an overwhelming number of Santa letters-close to 85! McGee's elves had blindly picked as many as they could and sent them off to the North Pole to bring smiles to our little ones.
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Massachusetts Combat Veterans Association for picking up the first batch of toys at McGee and the Dudley Fire Department this morning. It was truly an honor to meet such kind and genuine people and to partner with the Dudley Fire Department in this heartwarming initiative.
We couldn't have done this without our incredible partnerships and the unwavering support of our community. Thank you for making a difference!
Charlton Dudley Youth Football & Cheer
We teamed up with the 8th Grade Charlton Dudley Rams Football Team to celebrate their incredible achievement of making it to the SUPER-BOWL! Their hard work and dedication paid off as they represented their team with pride in the big game.
We also joined forces to cheer on the U12 and U14 Cheerleaders, who became STATE CHAMPS and advanced to REGIONALS! Their talent and determination inspired us all as we rooted for them to make it to Nationals.
This collaboration highlighted the amazing spirit of the Dudley Rams community, and we couldn't be prouder to have been part of it. Congratulations to everyone for making it this far-you all truly shined!
Seacoast School of Technology - Automotive - April 17, 2024
The students at Seacoast School of Technology- Automotive had a great day learning the basics of preparing and setting up a dirt modified for race day! Kevin Chaffee and Tanner Siemons demonstrated how they get their race cars ready for the track and then let the students take over! Come to the track, bring a friend and cheer for your McGee Family Racers!
Claremont Soup Kitchen
Thank you for joining us in supporting the Claremont Soup Kitchen! Over the past 11 days, our community's generosity was heartwarming. From canned goods to fresh produce, each donation was a vital step in ensuring no one went hungry. The journey wasn't complete without your contributions, which, whether big or small, made a significant impact. By donating even a single item, you directly helped families and individuals in our neighborhood who relied on these resources.
Every act of kindness counted, and together, we achieved remarkable things. Many dropped by the Claremont Soup Kitchen with one or two items. It was a simple gesture but resonated profoundly, reflecting our collective commitment to caring for each other. Whether it was a can of beans or a bag of rice, your donation made a difference. Stevens High School Baseball Team
At McGee Toyota of Claremont, we were proud to support the Stevens High School Baseball team with a donation for their new batting cage. It was an honor to contribute to the growth and development of these talented young athletes.

McGee Family Racing
McGee Family Racing was proud to present the Vermont Foodbank with a donation of $25,000! Every dollar donated to the Vermont Foodbank had the buying power for $4.14 worth of food - this meant that our donation would provide over $100,000 worth of groceries to our neighbors in need.
We wanted to express our deepest gratitude to the McGee Automotive Family for their unwavering support throughout the 2023 racing season. Not only did they cheer on our racers, but they also matched our racers' winnings, resulting in this incredible donation. Thank you to our amazing racing team for their hard work and success on the track. And last but not least, a huge thank you went out to our incredible customers and fans for their continuous support. McGee Toyota Putnam Opens with Strong Community Support
Despite the rain, McGee Toyota of Putnam celebrated its grand opening with enthusiasm and a strong sense of community. Local leaders, including Mayor Barney Seney and PBA President Kate Cerrone, praised the dealership's commitment to service and integrity. They highlighted Putnam's generosity, referencing the community's impressive fundraising for Veterans Park. State Senator Mae Flexer also welcomed the business with a legislative citation.
Owner Robert McGee thanked the community and honored his father's values. He donated $5,000 to Putnam school athletics, surprising Superintendent Steven Rioux. Diana Davis of Toyota's NY Region applauded McGee's people-first approach, presenting a symbolic samurai helmet to represent loyalty and respect.
